The title and tempo to me said ambient. I was in two minds when writing this regarding having simple or complex melodic elements, or a random melody. In the end I focused on a simple (almost formulaic) melody and harmony while relying on my sound design and modulation to keep things moving. The textures and simplicity lend a cinematic quality.
